Facebook ad limit – something we as ad buyers should be thinking about. In the past you could go bananas with Facebook ads, run as many as you like on your Facebook page(s) but unfortunately all the fun has come to an end. Facebook has announced that it will soon implement limits on how many ads a Page can run.

“In mid-2020, we are implementing a limit on the number of ads each Page can run at the same time. The ad limits will impact just a small percentage of advertisers, and we plan to share more details about the limits early in 2020”

To be honest, this seems pretty weird, right? Why would Facebook limit its revenue by restricting a brands ad spend? Here’s what they had to say about the situation:

  • Very high ad volume can influence ad performance.
  • With too many ads running at the same time, fewer ads exit the learning phase.
  • More budget is spent before the delivery system can optimize an ad’s performance.

Since the roll out isn’t scheduled until mid-2020, advertisers should have plenty of time to use the new Ad Volume API and adjust campaigns based on the guidance Facebook releases.

I’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both educative and interesting,
and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head.
The problem is an issue that too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy I came across this in my hunt for something
    relating to this.
